Evan O'Hara and Mason King win the kicking and punting jobs, but my guess is that we see both of their backups get some work (or at least Creque) in week one. He's a guy Petrino has really liked since he got here. With him being listed as the second string RB and not the first team FB, it appears LJ Scott will be more focused on carrying the ball this season. Lamar Atkins, who moved to linebacker last year and briefly left the team in the spring, is back as your starting FB, just ahead of Northwestern transfer Malin Jones, who came here originally as a RB. Despite being a starter last season, Shaq Wiggins ran with the second team throughout the spring and the start of fall camp, and apparently that hasn't changed. It appears that not only is Stacy Thomas good to go for week one, but he's healthy enough to be getting the start. This year - perhaps both because of the number of returnees and the week one opponent - we know exactly who won the starting job at every position on both sides of the field. Spencer attended the University of Houston for four years. His anime character voices tend to be either for timid, shy, or weak characters, or for eccentric and comical ones. He has also performed voice acting for radio, especially commercials. He is known for his roles in ADV Films dubs of Neon Genesis Evangelion as Shinji Ikari, Martian Successor Nadesico as Akito Tenkawa, and Excel Saga as Gojo Shioji. Family films don't come much better than this.Charles Forrest "Spike" Spencer (born December 21, 1968) is an American voice actor and columnist best known for dubbing Japanese anime films. For adults, it has a lot of substance and makes for an extremely enjoyable hundred minutes. Little kids don't need to understand every little detail of the plot, they just need something beautiful to look at and this is it. It isn't as confusing as I had expected, but it does have some elements of, "So what is going on?" I would expect kids to be infatuated with this movie though, purely because of the spectacle. The film has enormous heart which is shown through the love of Sosuke and Ponyo. The American version has a superb voice cast including Cate Blanchett, Liam Neeson, Matt Damon and Tina Fey. He names it Ponyo and spends the say with it only to lose it at sea and that's when the real magic starts. The story starts with a five year old boy, Sosuke, finding a gold fish in the ocean. And that's saying a lot because visually this is a masterpiece. The film does what a lot of animated movies don't, in that it is as engrossing plot wise as it is visually. It is like watching another, better world. It sucks you in and you can't take your eyes off it. It kind of makes you feel like your five years old again. It's a beautiful and overall delightful movie that is just a joy to watch. Ponyo, simply put, is one of the best animated films I have seen. "Welcome To A World Where Anything Is Possible." Sosuke: Mom! Ponyo came back, and she's a little girl now! The only problem I had with this movie is that though it is visually spectacular, it could've been MORE entertaining but other then that, "Ponyo" is one of those animated movies that any child and adult will willingly invest their attention to. Great move to get professional A-list actors to substitute for the original voice actors - I wouldn't even know if the Japanese version or American is better. The transition from the Japanese voice actors to the American? Almost flawless. There's creepy imagery and strange concepts going on, but "Ponyo" is entertaining throughout. wow, everything is created from the imaginative vision and mind of a child. The journey these characters take are tweaked to appeal to children but "Ponyo". See, the thing about Pixar is how they take stories that have occurred to adults and place them upon cute animals, children, or children-friendly protagonists. It's overflowing with very diverse, strange, and unique imaginative settings, effects, and characters. If "Ponyo" were a well of imagination, it would be shooting up water all over the place. Hayao Miyazaki is arguably on the same caliber as Pixar. The studio manages to attract children and adults with its great storytelling, gorgeous and fluid animation, and memorable characters. For American animated movies, the forefront of this genre is obviously Pixar. Smaller units are now able to combine both a washer and dryer into one machine, which also makes creating a smart laundry area in a small space a snap. If you have the space to set aside an entire room in which to do your laundry, however, modern laundry rooms are often bright, light and airy places that contain washers and dryers that come in a rainbow of stylish colors and smart designs. While some people have the space to devote an entire room to just housing their appliances, others need to combine spaces or incorporate a laundry area into rooms used for other functions. Washers and dryers are now making their way into the kitchen, into master bedrooms and even on the upper levels of homes and feature prominently on overall home decor. Now, these whisper quiet and stylish machines no longer have to be relegated to the dark dinginess of a basement or the oily mess of a garage, which also means you do not need to relegate yourself to those areas either to fulfill this never-ending and often thankless task. With more modern, quiet and stylish machines making their way into the marketplace, the washer and dryer are also making their way into being featured more prominently in newer home design. 50 Great Ways To Customize Your Laundry Room More recently, rooms dedicated specifically to doing laundry and housing the machines have made their way into the mainstream, but even then, they often remained very functional and utilitarian rooms. But the utilitarian location of these time-saving machines can often take a drudging task and make it even more dreary. Basements, mud rooms, garages and utility closets have been the pre-eminent locale for washers and dryers for decades. Traditionally, the noise and utilitarian look of washers and dryers have by necessity relegated them to the farthest away and most utilitarian places in the home. There are some tasks in life that are just never ending and laundry is most definitely near the top of that list. A commitment by management will indicate an awareness of the benefits and costs of HACCP and include education and training of employees. The Committee recognizes that in order to assure food safety, properly designed HACCP systems must also consider chemical and physical hazards in addition to other biological hazards.įor a successful HACCP program to be properly implemented, management must be committed to a HACCP approach. In keeping with the Committee's charge to provide recommendations to its sponsoring agencies regarding microbiological food safety issues, this document focuses on this area. In accordance with the National Academy of Sciences recommendation, the HACCP system must be developed by each food establishment and tailored to its individual product, processing and distribution conditions. The Committee believes that the HACCP principles should be standardized to provide uniformity in training and applying the HACCP system by industry and government. Microbiological criteria do, however, play a role in verifying that the overall HACCP system is working. In most instances, monitoring of CCPs can best be accomplished through the use of physical and chemical tests, and through visual observations. In the application of HACCP, the use of microbiological testing is seldom an effective means of monitoring CCPs because of the time required to obtain results. Under such systems, if a deviation occurs indicating that control has been lost, the deviation is detected and appropriate steps are taken to reestablish control in a timely manner to assure that potentially hazardous products do not reach the consumer. These principles include hazard analysis, CCP identification, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, verification procedures, and record-keeping and documentation. Seven basic principles are employed in the development of HACCP plans that meet the stated goal. Preventing problems from occurring is the paramount goal underlying any HACCP system. The Committee again endorses HACCP as an effective and rational means of assuring food safety from harvest to consumption. Based upon its review, the Committee made the HACCP principles more concise revised and added definitions included sections on prerequisite programs, education and training, and implementation and maintenance of the HACCP plan revised and provided a more detailed explanation of the application of HACCP principles and provided an additional decision tree for identifying critical control points (CCPs). The primary goal was to review the Committee's November 1992 HACCP document, comparing it to current HACCP guidance prepared by the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene. The National Advisory Committee on Microbiological Criteria for Foods (Committee) reconvened a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Working Group in 1995. Kurita's work is displayed in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The DoCoMo i-Mode set included facial expressions, such as smiley faces, derived from a Japanese visual style commonly found in manga and anime, combined with kaomoji and smiley elements. He also drew inspiration from Chinese characters and street sign pictograms. According to interviews, he took inspiration from Japanese manga where characters are often drawn with symbolic representations called manpu (such as a water drop on a face representing nervousness or confusion), and weather pictograms used to depict the weather conditions at any given time. Due to their influence, Kurita's designs were once claimed to be the first cellular emoji however, Kurita has denied that this is the case. They were intended to help facilitate electronic communication, and to serve as a distinguishing feature from other services. In 1999, Shigetaka Kurita created 176 emoji as part of NTT DoCoMo's i-mode, used on its mobile platform. The J-Phone model experienced low sales, and the emoji set was thus rarely used. It contained the Pile of Poo emoji in particular. Its designs, each measuring 12 by 12 pixels were monochrome, depicting numbers, sports, the time, moon phases and the weather. It is thought to be the first set of its kind. In 1997, J-Phone launched the SkyWalker DP-211SW, which contained a set of 90 emoji. Its welcome screen displayed a digital smiley face, replacing the usual text seen as part of the "welcome message" often seen on other devices at the time. In 1995, the French newspaper Le Monde announced that Alcatel would be launching a new phone, the BC 600. It could be used to send pictographs in rich text messages, but would only load on devices with the Wingdings font installed. Wingdings, a font invented by Charles Bigelow and Kris Holmes, was released by Microsoft in 1990. Wingdings icons, including smiling and frowning faces Scott Fahlman's emoticons importantly used common alphabet symbols, and aimed to replace language/text to express emotion, and for that reason are seen as the actual origin of emoticons. The PLATO system was not considered mainstream, and therefore Parello's pictograms were only used by a small number of people. Mary Kalantzis and Bill Cope point out that similar symbology was incorporated by Bruce Parello, a student at the University of Illinois, into PLATO IV, the first e-learning system, in 1972. Theories about language replacement can be traced back to the 1960s, when Russian novelist and professor Vladimir Nabokov stated in an interview with The New York Times: "I often think there should exist a special typographical sign for a smile - some sort of concave mark, a supine round bracket." It did not become a mainstream concept until the 1990s when Japanese, American and European companies began developing Fahlman's idea. The emoji was predated by the emoticon, a concept implemented in 1982 by computer scientist Scott Fahlman when he suggested text-based symbols such as :-) and :-( could be used to replace language. In 2015, Oxford Dictionaries named the Face with Tears of Joy emoji (□) the word of the year. They are now considered to be a large part of popular culture in the West and around the world. Originating on Japanese mobile phones in 1997, emoji became increasingly popular worldwide in the 2010s after being added to several mobile operating systems. The ISO 15924 script code for emoji is Zsye. Originally meaning pictograph, the word emoji comes from Japanese e ( 絵, 'picture') + moji ( 文字, 'character') the resemblance to the English words emotion and emoticon is purely coincidental. They are much like emoticons, except emoji are pictures rather than typographic approximations the term "emoji" in the strict sense refers to such pictures which can be represented as encoded characters, but it is sometimes applied to messaging stickers by extension. Emoji exist in various genres, including facial expressions, common objects, places and types of weather, and animals. The primary function of emoji is to fill in emotional cues otherwise missing from typed conversation. The "Grinning Face" emoji, from the Twemoji set Emoji being added to a text message, 2013Īn emoji ( / ɪ ˈ m oʊ dʒ iː/ ih- MOH-jee plural emoji or emojis Japanese: 絵文字) is a pictogram, logogram, ideogram, or smiley embedded in text and used in electronic messages and web pages. You may need rendering support to display the Unicode emoticons or emojis in this article correctly. In the long run, the headless approach has practical implications for the IoT and artificial intelligence in the short run, it can make managing content across different delivery formats much easier since the content isn't bound to a predetermined structure. Instead, content is published to an API or web service that is capable of pushing content straight to any smart device.Ī major benefit of using a headless CMS is that the same content can be published to a website, an app or anything connected to the internet of things. What exactly is the difference between a decoupled CMS and a headless one? Headless architecture doesn't include any frontend system whatsoever. A predetermined content-publishing frontend, which is connected to the backend through an API.An administrative interface including applications for creating and managing content.Consequently, frontend architecture is largely predetermined. After content is edited in the CMS, it must be pushed through an API and published to a designated delivery management system, or frontend. In a decoupled CMS, the backend and frontend of the website are managed by two separate systems. A frontend for displaying published content on HTML pages. An application for making design schemas. Many popular blogging platforms, like WordPress and Squarespace, are coupled CMS tools. All website design and customization applications are stored in the backend while visitors see the frontend. In a traditional CMS, also known as a coupled CMS, the backend and the frontend are inextricably bound. Here's an overview of the three types of CMS architecture: Traditional or coupled CMS You may see the terms "headless CMS" and "decoupled CMS" used interchangeably, but they actually describe different systems. Traditional CMS vs decoupled CMS vs headless CMS You also don't have to worry about all of the endless security updates and other maintenance issues that come with using a traditional CMS like WordPress. Also unlike a traditional CMS, a headless CMS typically doesn't require a host, yet self-hosting options do exist. For this reason, many developers find headless architecture easier to maintain. By losing the head, you can integrate with any codebase and use your preferred language.įrom a technical standpoint, a headless CMS simply uses API calls to render content within the website's codebase rather than creating complex relationships between code and content. Unlike traditional CMS architecture, which requires you to follow specific rules and use designated programming languages, a headless CMS gives developers complete control over how content is presented to the user. Modelling, creating and authoring contentĪs a trade-off, headless platforms lack web delivery layers like templating systems.A headless CMS can make the following tasks less of a headache: The headless approach allows developers to provide content as a service, abbreviated as CaaS, which simply means that content storage and delivery are handled by separate software. A headless content management system consists primarily of an API as well as the backend technology required to store and deliver content. The "head" in "headless CMS" refers to the frontend. This post will go over everything you need to know about what a headless CMS is, and when you should consider using one. Consequently, introducing mobile or IoT functionality to your application architecture can present challenges, which is why more developers are choosing to go headless. Unfortunately, traditional CMS tools provide little flexibility when it comes to integrating new delivery formats. More than 70 percent of North American companies either use or plan to use a content management system in some capacity. It is much less consistent, but when it procs, it can provide a large damage increase. For progression, where Rebirth will get much more use, I recommend removing a point from Brambles and placing it back into Omen of Clarity.Īlternatively: If you enjoy more of an RNG talent, all 3 points from Brambles can be moved into Owlkin Frenzy. This was done for the same reason as the Moonglow change. You will also notice the removal of Omen of Clarity. Because of this, both points were removed from Gale Winds and placed into Brambles for the above reason. With the lack of trash in Trial of the Crusader, the usage of spells like Typhoon and Hurricane will get much less use. While it also boosts the damage caused by Thorns, this damage is minor and only gets worse with how geared your tank gets. One point was taken out of Nature's Reach and placed into Brambles for the added Treant damage. If mana is a concern the point can be moved back into Moonglow. While minor, moving the single point from Moonglow and placing it into Genesis is a DPS increase over the alternative. Next, I will outline the changes as well as alternative options. While this build is recommended, it is not your only option for talents in Phase 3. Reminder: Swapping to this setup should only be done AFTER obtaining 2pc Tier 9! Below is a recommended talent and glyph setup: Furthermore, hitting the crit soft cap, as well as the increased intellect on gear, will allow us to spec into even fewer mana-focused talents. This warrants a change of glyphs to boost the power of this bonus. With the 2pc bonus of Tier 9, the periodic damage caused by Moonfire will gain the ability to crit. This setup is centered around overall (Boss and Trash) damage. Losing 2pc Tier 9 also warrants a change in glyphs. With the increased amount of trash in Icecrown Citadel, it is recommended that Gale Winds is also considered. While we won't have mana issues going into Icecrown Citadel, Omen of Clarity will be a required talent due to our 2pc Tier 10 bonus: Item - Druid T10 Balance 2P Bonus. In Phase 4, we will be going back to a similar build to the Phase 1 and 2 Talent setups. It is also not recommended to switch glyphs until you obtain 4-piece Tier 10. Note: It is not necessary to switch to this build until you have acquired 2-piece Tier 10. A girl named Rin wants revenge on a school of samurai known as the Itto-ryu, particularly its leader Anotsu, for the murder of her father and rape and kidnapping of her mother. Tl dr: An anime that has a few highs and points of interest, but is largely a mess that doesn’t handle anything its trying to do well. However this is just my opinion, I really think you should watch it if you aren't sensitive to blood, killing, rape, etc. It doesn't deserve worse but it doesn't really deserve anything too much more than this. In the end, I feel like this was a good anime, very unique one in my list but truly, if 7 was labeled as good, then this is the perfect score. It's kind of serious all the times which matches the style and story and the villains are all very well built except for Mr. It's as if killing anyone even from the beginning had no point and the series of events that have occurred literally changed nothing.Īside from how I personally viewed this plot. Manji did not redeem himself in any true way by killing the people, nor did Rin actually prove anything by killing Kigehisa. However, is the conclusion meaningful? Rin, all the way to the end, did not reach any sort of achievement with her sword. What did it want to say? What do we, viewers get out after watching this? Essentially what this is, is trying to build as many unnecessary obscure obstacles only to be overcome by obscure ways by the heroes to reach a conclusion. However, my main question to ask this anime is its ending. It matches the vibe of the anime by a bit but it is utterly horrible to the ear. From the beginning to the end of this series, the opening is just terrible. In terms of commenting on the anime OP, it is horrendous. What I must comment on is that this anime is not afraid to show something extremely unpleasant and will always surprise you with the death of a character that is not the main hero/villain. However, how often the fights occur is a bit absurd. to be put giving a raw and bloody feel to feudal Japan. I enjoyed the unique way of depicting the characters and the colors Starting with a few points to cover, the buildup of the tale is pretty average, there are the major heroes, there are the villains with empathetic backgrounds, and there are the average "hero's journey" conflicts along. Though I cannot confirm the costumes' accuracy nor the protagonist's Rin's mindset to be accurate, the overall picture of seeing how the samurai is represented is told very well. This is one of those animes that you would enjoy if you studied a bit about the history revolving around the period. With this partnership set in stone, the two embark on a perilous journey of bloodshed, vengeance, and redemption, each to fulfill their own life's cause. However, owing to her evident lack of strength, Manji changes his mind and agrees to protect Rin for four years. Initially reluctant, Manji refuses Rin's desperate plea. Soon after this promise, Manji meets Rin Asano, a 16-year-old girl who requests Manji's assistance in killing those who slaughtered her parents. Yaobikuni agrees to this proposal, saying that if he succeeds, she will undo his curse of immortality. To atone for his crimes, Manji resolves to kill one thousand evil men. This is the handiwork of eight-hundred-year-old nun Yaobikuni, who placed bloodworms capable of healing almost any wound in Manji's body. However, there is something far more frightening than his ominous reputation: the fact that he is immortal. Manji is an infamous swordsman in feudal Japan who is known as the "Hundred Man Killer," as he has killed one hundred innocent men. |
